Our patented locking system engages on two sides along the entire length of the jamb, securing the patio door like never before. With our unique single slide action, a simple slide of the easy to reach handle secures or unlocks the door. There's no need to remember a separate lever, foot bolt or charlie bar. Most sliding patio doors have latch products (that they often refer to as 'locks') which are integrated with the handle. Simply put, the latches don't lock and the integrated design with the handle provides easy external access to the latch. That external access makes it very easy to pull the handle off the door, manipulate the latch and slide the door open within minutes. Our design provides a lock, not a latch. Additionally, it separates the handle from the lock, allowing no external access to the lock. With SecuraSeal, security was designed in, not added later. In fact, we ran our own test on our door to 350% of the force used in the industry standard test with no failure.
